Each maintenance visit includes:

  • Drain engine oil and replace with manufacturer-approved synthetic oil

  • Replace oil filter, air filter, and spark plugs as required

  • Inspect fuses and electrical protection devices

  • Inspect and test battery voltage and charging system

  • Inspect and adjust valve clearances if required

  • Battery service, including terminal inspection and corrosion prevention

  • Inspect electrical connections at the generator and automatic transfer switch (ATS)

  • Inspect fuel and gas connections at the generator and supply source

  • Verify proper operation of the automatic transfer switch (ATS)

  • Simulate utility power loss to confirm generator startup, load transfer, operation, and shutdown

  • Verify generator voltage and frequency output under load

  • Address applicable manufacturer service bulletins when required
